Austin Stone Community Church

I've been a partner at the Austin Stone since June of 2008. I love this church, I love the people at this church, but more than anything, I love that this is a church exists for the supremacy of the name and purpose of Jesus, for the good of Austin. If you live in Austin and are looking for a church, let me know! I'd love for you to come with me! If you are visiting Austin and want to check it out... let me know and you can join me!

World Vision
This is Woliya Jemal. She is my sponsored kiddo in Ethiopia. I love this girl... and pray for her all of the time. I've never met her, but I know that God is doing some great things in her life. She and I keep in touch by letters... and she always brightens my day! I love World Vision... this is how they describe themselves...

"World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Dedicated to working with the most vulnerable, we serve all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. Our vision for every child, life in all its fullness; Our prayer for every heart, the will to make it so."

International Justice Mission
A few years ago, I was blessed to get to go to the IJM Headquarters in Washington DC to their weekly staff prayer meeting. It was a humbling experience to hear the prayers going out for all of these innocent victims of sex trade, slavery and violent acts. I haven't been the same since. This organization works tirelessly to bring justice to the children of God. This is their mission: "International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to ensure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to promote functioning public justice systems."

 Together for Adoption

Together for Adoption exists to mobilize the church to care for orphans by providing gospel-centered resources that explore our adoption in Christ and its profound implications for the global orphan crisis. For those that have adopted, are in the process of adopting, are thinking or planning to adopt, or want to see an adoption ministry in your church, Together for Adoption has an annual conference each year for you!
